What is Physiotherapy?
Physio & Rehabilitation - it’s not just for back & neck pain!
Physiotherapy helps you to restore your movement, function and quality of life which may have been affected by injury, illness or disability. It can also help to reduce your chance of injury in the future.
Physiotherapy is a profession based on science which takes a whole person approach to treatment. This means that TK Physio does not only look at the physical aspects of a condition but at a person’s overall health, wellbeing and lifestyle. This approach ensures that the client is always at the centre of the treatment approach and is involved in their own care. Through education and empowerment physiotherapy helps the client to be more in control of their presenting condition.
Physiotherapy is suitable for people of all ages; it helps to facilitate recovery and enable greater independence for as long as possible.
